MageDoc Extensions
These extensions are NO Open Source.
By purchasing any product (Software) from MageDoc buyer agrees to the following statements (Agreement):
- MageDoc is the copyright holder of the Software. The Software or a portion of it is copyrightable matter and is liable to be protected by the law. Any activity that infringes the terms of this Agreement or violates copyright law will be prosecuted according to the current law.
- MageDoc reserves the right to revoke a license if the Terms of the License Agreement are breached. MageDoc also reserves the right to revoke any invalid license.
- None of the Software, either whole or parts thereof can be used in any other software or product or web-site.
- The Software and supporting Documentation may not be given, sold, distributed, sub-licensed, rented, leased or lent to anyone. Neither can the Software be placed on a server so that it is accessible via a public network such as the Internet for distribution purposes.
- MageDoc reserves the right to publish a selected list of buyers of its Software.
- MageDoc is not liable for any damages caused to the buyer of its Software. This includes but is not limited to, any loss of profits, incidents or consequences and any problems concerning their data or their business arising out of the use or inability to use this Software.
- MageDoc is not liable for any illegal use of its Software or liable for any prosecution arising from the illegal use of its Software.
When purchasing a license from MageDoc, you can use it for one live domain and as many staging, dev, or local domains you need. In addition, the license is valid for an unlimited period of time. One license assigned to a domain is irrevocably linked to that domain and cannot be transferred to another domain, except in the two following cases:
- a transfer of the license can be performed from a staging, dev or local domain to a live domain;
- the license can be transferred if the old domain redirects definitively to the new one (301 permanent redirection).
Paid upgrades are available at any time: when buying an upgrade, the license holder will be able to download and upgrade the version of the extension during the time he chose while making the purchase, from the date of purchase. This principle also applies to the additional month(s) a license holder can get for free after writing a review.
Installation
You can purchase Extension Installation Service additionally to any MageDoc extension. Some packages include Extension Installation Service if stated in the item description.
Extension Installation Service includes:
- Installation of purchased extension to a single Magento instance (server) in 2 business days after server access credentials are provided by the client
Extension Installation Service does not include:
- Filling in live data, store products, rules, etc.
- Magento Upgrade Service
- Any type of configuring Magento store
- Configuration of extensions installed on your store
- Magento development and customization activities
Support
Any Magento extension purchased from MageDoc includes 90 days free support period. You can extend your support period by purchasing Extra Days of Support. Any updates made available by MageDoc will be free during support time.
Item support includes:
- latest versions of purchased item: the new version of the item will automatically be made available to buyers through the Downloads page once released (you’ll see a link in your order confirmation email)
- answering technical questions about item’s features (specific questions about the features and functionality of the item. The response to this type of question can come in various formats including directing you to an already documented response (e.g. in the comments or FAQs)
- assistance with reported bugs and issues
If the purchased MageDoc Extension contains a bug when working with standard Magento logic, then MageDoc will resolve the issue free of charge for the client. If the error is a result of the client’s website deviating from standard Magento logic, then MageDoc is not liable for this issue.
During the item support period, you can report and discuss bugs and minor item defects with the MageDoc, and MageDoc support team is expected to be available to assist you with reported bugs. A bug fix will be available to all buyers through a general version update.
Item support does not include:
- customization services
- installation services (installation is paid apart)
- MageDoc is not required to support issues about your web hosting or server environment, or issues with the software you’ve got installed on your machine to use the item. Please check your ISP/web hosting provider or other software documentation that you’re trying to use to help solve your issues
Customer support is available from the user’s account (Submit Ticket page). Customers must provide the MageDoc team with details (screenshots via links, settings, steps followed etc.) and should not open a new ticket to answer to a previous one.
Support service includes a response time under 5 working days to any support request sent to MageDoc. MageDoc reserves the right to exceptionally exceed that response time limit and commits itself to notifying customers of new estimated response time.
The support service only applies to software created by MageDoc and to software for which the user has a valid license. MageDoc reserves the right to give no answer to support requests that would not comply with the above clauses.
Any support request that would need the MageDoc team to work on the customer’s website/server can only be done if this website/server is accessible via FTP and if the Magento admin panel is accessible via HTTP. The customer must provide the appropriate access permissions. In the case where it is required to connect remotely or via a virtual desktop, the operation will only be carried out via Teamviewer and will be charged on the basis of MageDoc’s current hourly rate.
